The path is generally good with much improvement made by CCC in 2010.

There are some steep gradients and Uneven paths to the south west around Troon so  care and large scooters is the call of the day in some places.

There is a very even stretch of tarmac path between Carn Brea Village and Pool, but parking is limited.

Although the route is circular there is an on road stretch  from the end of the above section  to Higher Brea. This gets very busy at times and although I do it  I DO NOT recommend it.
